How to reinstall your server

Is your server not functioning properly? Do you need a fresh start? This article will describe how to reinstall your server and clear all files.

By reinstalling a server, all data will be lost. If you do not manually backup your server on a regular basis, and need to recover anything, Modern Hosting can provide you with the most recent daily backup taken by contacting us.

1. Login to the Modern Hosting Game Panel and select the server you want to manage.

2. Shut down your server. If you are not sure how to do this, you can read this article here.

3. On the left sidebar, click on "Settings" (1 in the image below) > "Reinstall Server" (2 in the image below).

4. You will be asked to confirm if you want to reinstall your server. Click "Yes, Reinstall Server" to begin the re-installation process.
