How to extract and view an archived folder

Need to extract and view the contents of a compressed folder on your server? This article will explain how to complete this process.

As part of the process of setting up your server, you may come across compressed folders, the most common ending in a .zip or .tar format. Here is how to extract one:

1. Login to the Modern Hosting Game Panel, choose the server you want to manage, and head to "File Manager" on the left sidebar.

2. Find the compressed folder you want to extract, and either click on the three dots on the far right side or right click on it to find the "Unarchive" menu option.

3. After clicking this button, the archive will be extracted and it's contents should now appear on the file list. You can now access the files and use them as needed for your server.
