How to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your game panel account

Do you want to keep your Modern Hosting account secure? This article will explain how to keep your account secure by enabling 2FA.

To help ensure the security of your game panel account with Modern Hosting, we strongly recommend that you enable 2FA (two-factor authentication). This provides an additional layer of protection by requiring two types of information, in this case, a password and a random token, before logging in. This will prevent unauthorized access to your account and will ensure that your account is as strong as possible.

An OTP (one-time password) 2FA application is required in order to complete the setup process. Modern Hosting recommends you use Authy, which can sync your game panel login across multiple devices.

1: Log into the Modern Hosting Game Panel, and click on "My Account" on the left sidebar.

3: Under "Configure Two Factor", click the "Begin Setup" button to begin the setup process.

3: A generated QR code will appear on screen, with a box for you to enter your authentication token and the option to "Setup".

4: Scan the QR code using an appropriate application, and when it has been added, enter the 6-digit code authentication code that appears.

5: Press "Setup" to verify the code. A message will appear stating that "2-Factor Authentication has been enabled on your account".
